Lucy Whittington’s idea of fun at work is finding an easier, simpler or smarter way for you to spend more time in your business doing what you’re brilliant at – Your Thing – and less time making the business of business happen.
Lucy has 20 plus years of B2B marketing experience – mostly in software, but also for small businesses. She was the second UK hire and marketer on the team who launched Xero in the UK. She also co-founded the Small Business Finance School, is the author of ‘Find Your Thing’, and is currently co-founder of Statzy – a mobile app that puts all your vital business stats in one place so you can track them easily and spend more time doing your Thing.
She got an MBA when she thought qualifications were important, but more helpfully has run her own consultancy business since 2005.
She’s launched things, written things – 2 books so far & a LOT of blog posts, developed things – she can’t code but does like helping create software that solves problems, finished things – usually pudding, and grown things – teams, turnover and 2 small people who haven’t actually stopped growing yet! She lives at the seaside and will always mention that.
